Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using The Legal Circle, you agree to these Terms of Use and our other posted policies.
You must be able to enter a binding contract and use the service for professional purposes. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of registration details and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
Notify us promptly at support@thelegalcircle.com if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
We may require identity or role verification before enabling or re-enabling access to certain features or listings.

Listings and user content

You retain rights to the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your listings to operate and improve the service.
You affirm you have all rights and permissions to post the content you upload, including images, logos, media embeds, and published work links.
You control whether a listing is in draft or listed state. Listed profiles are visible to visitors; drafts are private to authenticated users with access.

Content standards

Provide accurate, current, and non-misleading information about your practice, licenses, and affiliations.
Do not post confidential, privileged, or sensitive client information without proper authorization.
Respect third-party intellectual property, publicity, and privacy rights. Only upload materials you have permission to use.
We may edit, hide, or remove listings or media that violate these standards or applicable law.

Prohibited conduct

No scraping, bulk data extraction, unauthorized automation, or attempts to circumvent access controls.
No uploading malware, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or disrupting the stability of the service.
No harassment, discriminatory content, fraudulent misrepresentation, or unlawful solicitation.
Do not resell, lease, or frame access to the service without our prior written consent.

Service changes and availability

Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with or without notice.
Planned downtime, maintenance, or incidents may affect availability. We aim to restore service promptly but do not guarantee uptime.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Legal Circle and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months prior to the claim or one hundred USD if the service is free.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Legal Circle and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, applicable law, or security requirements.
